Description

A Victorian silver scent bottle with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1888, including Queen Victoria’s head, and makers mark for Edward Souter Barnsley.
The scent bottle is designed to hang from a necklace or chatelaine or within a purse as it lies horizontally and has a silver chain attached. It is lined with a glass liner and is profusely decorated front and back with flowers and foliage. It has smooth wide surrounding frame and a vacant shield. The screw top contains its original cork. In clean and excellent condition.
