Description
C1910's antique pocket silver plated and leather covered glass hip flask. A really usable size to fit a pocket. Holds 1/5 pint. No makers mark but from the design probably by James Dixon & Sons. It comes with a cork lined bayonet cap. Height 5 1/8 inches 13 cm Width 3 1/8 inches 8 cm Depth 1 1/8 inches 2.8 cm. The condition is excellent and the flask is liquid tight with no leakage. The cork in the cap has been replace so that it's as hygienic and liquid tight as possible. The leather is also excellent with no tears or splits just some minor signs that it's been used. Minor surface marks to the cup and wear to the cap on the top again from age and use but clean inside and perfectly good to use. A bubble in the glass as shown in the pictures, this is from hand blowing the glass during manufacture. Excellent for it's age. A lovely usable piece. Will be sent in a free gift box.
