Technical Description
A superb 19th century blue glass serving bottle. The tapering neck is wrythen moulded which leads to a cylindrical body with rib moulding throughout. The piece has a polished pontil.
Date & Origin
England, c1850. Period of Victoria.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown.
Dimensions
Height: 30.8cm Diameter: 8.3cm.
Historical Context
Hand-blown around the time work began on the first brick building in San Francisco.
