Description

The watch has a good quality Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement with 3 adjustments which is working nicely. Originally there would have been a micro regulation addition to the regulator but this has been removed over the years, this does not affect how the movement works. The movement is signed Tavannes Watch Co, a company founded in the Jura Mountains in Switzerland in 1891 by Henri-Frédéric Sandoz. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison watch case company. The case is in lovely condition.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The white dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Due to Customs regulations, we are unable to send watches / precious metals to certain countries. If you are unsure about your country’s regulations, please contact us and we can check for you. Any orders from prohibited countries will be refunded, less any Paypal fees which are non-refundable.
All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
We are a VAT registered company and all purchases are covered by Consumer Regulations.
