Description

A large late Victorian brass planter with decorative cast feet and handles c.1890. Hand formed in solid brass with keyed seems to the sides and base, and rolled rim to the top. Sat on four cast brass paw feet, which extend up the sides of the planter with masks to the top of each; lion mask handles with ring drops to the sides. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 16" maximum width including handles x 12.5" maximum depth across x 10" high. Planter bowl is 14" maximum width with an 8" internal depth.
