Description

A Victorian Scottish silver mounted dirk brooch set with semi precious stones and gems. c1880. As is usual with small Victorian silver jewellery, the brooch is not hallmarked but is silver. Shaped as a dagger, the silver shaft is inset with oblong green agate panels, two silver set citrines protruding between the three silver cross bands and a sizeable rock crystal gem at the top. The brooch emulates a bejewelled dagger. It has a silver bar and hook at the back. Excellent condition.
