Description

1891 Victorian Wedgwood olive green jasperware biscuit barrel or tobacco jar.
This rare piece could be earlier but with the addition of the word “England” I have erred on the side of caution.
Mostly in good condition, there are two small losses to the relief work on the lid, a small chip to the inside of the foot and a drying crack to the base from manufacture.
The pot with lid stands 20cm tall and 14cm wide.
