Description

A lovely item of collectable novelty silver. A hallmarked silver stamp case with an attaching ring for a fob or chatelaine. The body is formed to represent a book, with engraved 'pages' to the top, bottom and sides. The front is engraved 'Stamps' and the reverse is fully hallmarked. The interior slides open on a pivot and is fully gilded. These novelty items are widely collected and this is a lovely and unusual example. Dimensions below.
