Description

An Art Deco era French pair of squirrels bookends c1930. The squirrel figures are made of bronzed spelter in a stylised form, the squirrels tails intended for holding the books in place. The squirrels are mounted on rouge marble bases. They are very decorative and strongly reflect a Deco design. In excellent condition.
