Description

An unusual George V period solid silver vesta case designed to hold a hotel strip pack of matches, hallmarked Birmingham 1931. Oblong shaped with hinged lid, and tapering in depth to allow space for the match heads. Clasp to the front, opens to reveal a polished interior with indents to the corners to hold the match pack in place. Bears the makers mark for Hasset & Harper. Excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.25" long x 1.75" wide x 0.5" deep.
