Description

The antique Victorian knife cleaning and sharpening machine was made by Kent's of London, England circa 1880 in the period Victorian style. It features two sharpening stones in a solid oak case with a heavy cast handle and base. The machine has multiple chutes for cleaning powders and a hand crank for cleaning, polishing, and sharpening knife blades. These machines were essential for daily knife maintenance before the invention of stainless steel. They were common in large households and used regularly. Today, Victorian Kents knife cleaners are sought after by collectors of vintage kitchenware and antique tools.
