Description

A charming example of novelty Victorian silver sewing ware. This is a lovely thimble 'bucket', fully hallmarked and with a chain handle and attaching ring for a chatelaine. There is a period silver thimble inside.The bucket is understated and stylish, with a blue plush lining and is hallmarked to the side. A fine collector's piece, usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no dents or splits. The thimble has very slight undulations to the rim, commensurate with age and use

Diameter :- 2.3 cms. (widest point).
