Description

This is a fabulous French sewing necessaire with hallmarked silver gilt tools. The set comprises a thimble , a rapier, scissors, bodkin and needle case. The superb set is presented in the original fitted box. The tool ends are polished steel and the handles are fine, engine turned silver gilt. Antique sewing items are always in great demand and this is a lovely and rather rare French example. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, losses or splits. The case is in worn condition, commensurate with age and use.
