Description

Indian folding Benares table
A good simple example of an Indian tea table, of similar design to the English butler's tray, carry a tray of drinks in one hand and the folded stand in the other, ideal for use in the garden, or by the pool. A folding side table with removable brass tray top, the tray engraved in decorative geometric pattern and script. Stands on a folding base with three pairs of legs that are conjoined and hinged to the centre. The tray with good patina and has not been polished.
