Technical Description
A fine 19th century brown glass decanter. Mell form with a wonderful narrow elegant neck. Polished pontil. Cork stopper with brass knop.
A very rare colour for a Mell Decanter. The size is smaller than normal and would be classified as a personal decanter.
Date & Origin
England, c1830. Period of William IV.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration, clean and clear.
