Description

A superb silver mounted decanter from the end of the Victorian era. This eye-catching example is fitted with a hallmarked silver collar and features the original matching cut glass stopper. The body is waisted in shape and has three applied cut handles. The body and stopper are extensively cut with diamonds and wide shaped panels. The base is cut with a multi point star. It is a high quality and usable piece of antique glassware and a great collector's item or gift idea. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes or splits to the collar. No chips, cracks or clouding to the glass. There are a couple of small ripples to the collar and some tiny fleabites to the neck of the stopper, all commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable.
Date :- Birmingham 1900.
Maker :- Latham & Morton.
Height :- 26 cms.
