Description

An antique and rare hand painted figurine of a woman created by factory Triebner, Ens & Eckert Volkstedt, Germany in the end of 19th century.
The figure is holding a torch and a sheaf of wheat, standing beside a basket of fruit and in front of a dragon. This allegorical figurine seems to represent the continent of Australia.

Condition: the back has a few small chips on the flowers, the top two flowers on the garland which is located at the back of the figure look restored, but they are almost invisible from the front and the figure itself is in excellent condition.
