John Bettridge
Antique sterling silver vinaigrette by John Bettridge. Of good rectangular form with raised foliate scroll borders with engine turned body and central rectangular cartouche. Hinged lid opens to reveal pierced scroll grill and original sponge. Gilded interior and grill, hallmarked Birmingham, 1826 by maker John Bettridge. In very good condition with good original gilding and good hinges (lid very slightly loose) and tight closing. 4cm x 2.8cm x 1cm high.
