Description

A late 19thC French brass chamber stick or candle holder c1880. The candle holder is made of good quality weighty cast brass with many decorative features. The handle curves to fit the hand and has raised foliage detail against a stippled background. The dish has a double rim of fleur de lys and acanthus design. Four foliage and fluted patterns adorn the candle sconce. It has a superb patina and gleam, is very good quality and is in excellent condition.
