Sterling Silver & Shagreen
Circa 1810
An early 19th century sterling silver and shagreen ray skin snuff box of navette shape with repousse lid. In very good condition with silver body wrapped with shagreen ray skin leather and engraved floral design to base, lift off lid with repousse floral and scroll design. Tight fitting lid, in very good condition overall with minor wear to the shagreen and silver body, unmarked but tested as silver. 7cm x 3.3cm x 6.0cm high. 80.7g total weight.
