Description

A pretty late Victorian silver mounted photograph frame with embossed art nouveau style decoration of scrolling flowering vines. The easel back mounted in what appears to be the original back velvet and purple silk. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1898, maker Miller Brothers.
It measures 16cm (6 1/4") high by 12.2cm (4 3/4") wide, with an aperture of 13cm (5 1/8") by 9cm (3 1/2") and it stands 15.2cm (6") tall.
In excellent condition with no damage, dents or repairs. The silk and velvet just has minor handling wear.
