Description

This stunning silver mounted turquoise guilloche enamel purse mirror was made by Harrison & Hipwood and dated Birmingham 1925. Of circular form with a vivid turquoise guilloche enamel sunburst background. It has a decorative cast silver laurel leaf handle and is fitted with the original bevelled mirror. Enamel purse mirrors are few and far between and this is a really lovely example in pristine condition.
Hallmarks:
H&H for Harrison & Hipwood.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "A" for 1925.
Dimensions:
Length including handle: 8cm / 3 inches.
Diameter: 6cm / 2.2 inches.
Condition:
Excellent.
