Description

Technical Description
A very rare drawn trumpet Georgian champagne or ale glass dating to c1780.
It has an undulating band of engraved egg and dart with a band of undulating flute cutting below. Transitions into a hexagonal facet cut stem. Conical foot.
A drawn trumpet, facet cut stem glass from the 18th cen is a rare form and we have had very few examples.
Date & Origin
England, c1780, Period of George III.
Condition
Excellent, No chips, cracks or restoration. Minor residue at the base of the bowl.
