Description

A scarce, clean copy of the Second, Revised Edition of the catalogue produced to accompany the exhibition held at the Tate Gallery, London, from Wednesday, July 17th to Sunday, September 22nd 1968, to celebrate the occasion of the seventieth birthday of the sculptor, Henry Moore, and published in September of that year. Described as the most representative exhibition of the artist's work ever to have been assembled anywhere, the objects exhibited were assembled and catalogued, at Moore's request, by David Sylvester, as was the Arts Council retrospective held at the Tate Gallery in 1951. Soft covers, 179 pages, excellent black and white illustrations throughout.
