Description

An exquisite pair of Edwardian sewing scissors and sheath. The scissor handles are silver and the blades are polished steel The sheath is hallmarked and has the original attaching chain for a chatelaine. A wonderful collector's item for the sewing enthusiast, with a practical use. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes or splits to the silver. The scissors have blemishes associated with steel that has been in use for many years and commensurate with age.
Hallmarks :- Scissors are unmarked but test as silver and the sheath has clear and readable hallmarks.
Date :- Birmingham 1902.
Maker :- Levi & Salaman.
Length :- 11.5 cms.
Width :- 4.2 cms.
Depth :- 1 cm.
