Description

Albert Genick, An architect by training, was one of the leading German scholars of Greek vases at the end of the nineteenth century. The large chromolithographic plates in his study, are some of the most handsome images of Greek Vases ever printed.
Large folio colour chromolithographic a gilt frame from Albert Genick's "Griechische Keramik". The work was published in Berlin in 1876 by Genick and Wasmuth. Ernst Wasmuth who also did the colour-printed lithography. Genick's superb work was on Greek Ceramics with each plate illustrating various vases, urns, jugs, and other vessels. .Any minor imperfectionswill be identified Please review the image carefully for condition and contact us with any questions. --- Paper Size ~ 26" by 17 3/4".
