A pair of Edwardian silver salt cellars featuring their original, rare, handblown ruby glass liners and matching spoons. The design showcases intricate silver latticework with floral and scroll motifs, epitomizing the refinement and elegance of the Edwardian period. The deep ruby glass liners provide a striking contrast to the silver, while the matching spoons complete the set.
The salt cellars are hallmarked in Birmingham in 1902 by John Edward Wilmot, a renowned silversmith celebrated for his high-quality tableware. The salt spoons are original and made by the same maker. The ruby glass liners are also original, undamaged, and fit perfectly, further enhancing the set’s rarity and value.
