An early 20th century sterling silver tea caddy or canister of unusual ovoid shape with pull off lid with ball finial. Hallmarked Birmingham, 1911 by makers William Hutton & Sons. In very good condition with tight fitting lid, and good gauge silver, some marks but no major dents or damage, small ding to the finial, impressed R5721 to base.
