Description

A fine Elizabeth II era silver mounted cut lead crystal decanter with clear hallmarks for Birmingham 1961 and makers mark for Mappin & Webb.
The body is cut into 4 large arches with triple line hobnail cutting within. The neck is elegantly slice cut to just below a smooth band underneath the silver collar. The base is star cut to the rim. The stopper is star cut on top above a band of stars with a teardrop effect within. Overall an impressive showy and sparkly decanter in excellent condition.
