Technical Description
A superb 19th century gimmel flask dating to c1830. It has applied prunts to either side, crimped at edges with snapped pontil.
Date & Origin
England, c1830. Period of William IV.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration, clean and clear.
Dimensions
Height: 22cm Width: 11.5cm.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time McVitie's was founded as McVitie & Price's biscuit bakery in Edinburgh.
