800 Solid Silver
French, Camus & Co. Cognac
A mid 20th century wine taster or tastevin in 800 silver set with an 1843 5 Franc coin set into the base. With Minerva 2 strike mark to handle and bowl, engraved with Camus & Co. and company cross logo beneath handle, contained in a fitted presentation case, with handwritten note in French from Camus & Co. President Michel Camus (1911-1985). In excellent condition with no dents or damage, wear and foxing to case exterior.
Taster 10.6cm x 8cm wide x 4.2cm high (handle). 104g.
