Description

Here we have a rare Halifax red earthenware money box dripped in manganese glaze over a cream ground, it is of rising baluster form with with a pierced coin slot on the back and having a label to the front inlaid in yellow on an orangey brown glaze 'Gladys' it is mounted on a flat circular base with four knopped posts and surmounted by three birds on a twin branch perch dotted with yellow slip decoration and is in very good condition,
