Description

A smart pair of silver ashtrays dating from 1939. The square design has a circular central bowl, smooth curves at each corner and a combination of smooth polished silver with panels of crisp engine turned engraving. Very typically Art Deco in style, with their clean lines these smart ashtrays would look very smart in a period or modern home.

Hallmarked as sterling silver, Birmingham 1939 by D. Bros.
Condition: In good vintage condition. There is some fine surface wear to the smooth trays commensurate with age and usage.
