Description

A charming example of usable silver, dating from the Art Deco period. This is a stylish small magnifying glass, with a wire-work silver frame and solid handle. While many antique magnifying glasses have replacement lenses and frames, this good example has a guilloche enamel and silver handle, in sunshine yellow and the original frame. A lovely collector's piece, that is both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent with no dents, breaks or losses. The glass and enamel are in undamaged condition.
Hallmarks :- Soft but readable. Loss to the Maker's mark.
Date :- Birmingham 1931.
