Description

This sterling silver cigarette case, dated 1899, is a beautifully crafted piece exemplifying the elegance of the Victorian era. The exterior features intricate floral and scroll engravings, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. The hinged case is rectangular with rounded edges, providing a smooth, ergonomic feel. The piece is slightly curved for comfortable handling and features a monogram, presumably the initials "WV," on the front side.
This would make a great, stylish Christmas gift—a cigarette case for small cigarettes or an ideal business card holder.
Made by William Hair Haseler and fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1899.

Condition: Excellent condition, with no dents or damage. The case locks and unlocks perfectly. The push-button clasp functions very well, with an audible 'snap' upon closure, securely holding all contents inside.
