Description

Preserve Jar with Silver Cover & Spoon. 1919. The glass body is decorated with etched scrolling grapes and vine leaves. The silver lid is dated Birmingham 1919 by William Aitken, the spoon is Sheffield 1919 by the silversmiths Charles Boyton & Sons. For scale the glass jar is 4 inches (10cm) tall. All my photos are taken using natural light only. Other than a tiny ding to the top of the acorn knop, see images, everything is in excellent condition. Our ref 9580A
