Description

A rare Georgian silver patch box with an Wedgewood Adams signed Jasper Ware Top. Makers mark only to base Joseph Taylor Birmingham circa 1800. There is a crack across the top, this may have happened when the item was made. The inside has an old velvet pad which is loose but has probably been added. A most unusual piece.
The Jasper Ware is slightly lighter than depicted in the photographs.
