Inlaid Victorian mahogany table-jewellery box in very good condition. Original inlaid brass cartouche and escutcheon. Apart from one very small filled corner (less than 2cm x 0.7cm) all veneer is original, complete and free of splits/cracks etc. The lid closes perfectly square. Original hinges and lock. The key shown is for decorative purposes only. The lock has been tested and the mechanism is in good working order. The interior has been neatly relined in a marble effect paper…..all in spotless condition.
