Very rare Sottish antique solid sterling silver sugar tongs / nips. They are hallmarked for Glasgow 1893 with the makers marks being RD. They have been superbly designed being cast in the form of a harlequin. They are in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. They have a nice tight smooth action. They measure approx. 4.5 inches (11.3cm) long by over 1.5 inches (4.2cm) wide at the handles and weigh 47 grams. Superbly made very high quality rare examples.
