Description

A charming and rather unusual collector's item, assayed at the Birmingham Assay Office in 1901 to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward Vll. This is a novelty Edwardian silver pin cushion, in the shape of the Coronation throne, with the seat pad being the pin cushion. The body is a replica of the Coronation throne in miniature. An interesting and unusual example for the collector. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no holes, dents and splits. The cushion fabric is worn, commensurate with age and use.
