Description

A gorgeous glass tea caddy bowl from the late Georgian period. This lovely example would have originally come from a wooden tea caddy box and the bowl was used for blending and mixing the tea leaves. It stands on a raised star cut foot and the rim is tooth cut. The straight sides are extensively cut with diamonds, pillar flutes and crosshatching in attractive panels. A good collector's piece, useful as a bowl for any purpose. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no major chips or cracks. There are a couple of small nicks to the rim, both photographed and are commensurate with age and use.
