Description

This is a dainty solid sterling silver topped bowl, dish or quaich/quaiche.
It is hallmarked on the side of the rim for Birmingham 1895 with the maker's mark for the highly collectable silversmith, William Comyns. The glass body stands on a circular pedestal base. The silver rim and ornate silver handles are in excellent condition, as is the waved glass body and starburst base. A lovely item with many uses.
