Description

A stylish vintage Swedish silver purple cabochon bracelet dated 1956. The bracelet comprises of ten circular glass cabochons in a slightly smoky purple which resembles quartz. The settings are of smooth silver with a slightly bevelled edge, separated by chain links to flex the bracelet around the wrist and fastens with a bolt ring.

A lovely wearable item with timeless style, this is a good collectible piece for lovers of mid century Scandinavian jewellery.

Hallmarks: The bracelet bears full Swedish hallmarks: F9 dates it to 1956  and the 'S' denotes sterling silver. Makers mark 'M & O' we have not been able to identify.

Condition: One cabochon has a nick which was in the original manufacture, and there are a few surface abrasions, mentioned for accuracy but not very apparent when worn.
