Description

Art Nouveau 1906 hallmarked solid silver nurses belt buckle.
Makers mark for Arthur Johnson Smith with the full Birmingham hallmark with the date letter for 1906.
Single piece buckle the belt fits through and hooks to one side. You can see from the pictures we've made up a sample of how this would fit. The hoop isn't original and would need to be something more substantial to use when worn.
Super maiden Art Nouveau design to the centre with engraved decoration around it.
Measures 4 1/4 inches 10.5 cm wide and 2 3/8 inches 6 cm tall.
The silver weight is 35.5 grams.
Excellent condition, no damage or repairs to any part of the buckle.
Will be delivered in a tissue lined gift box.
