This quality Antique Albertina chain features a decorative chain with a heart tassel charm and fancy centre, all modelled in Silver. The chain is complete with a petite twisted T-bar and secure dog clip fastener.
An Albertina chain is the name of a watch chain worn by women. These chains were popular during the Victorian era, along with Albert chains, which were worn by men. The Albertina chains were generally finer than the Albert chains and often were multi-stranded, with charms and fobs.
This high-quality example, with the desirable heart tassel, can be worn as a watch chain or bracelet.
