Technical Description
A very rare 18th century masonic engraved glass tumbler in the form of a barrel.
It is engraved with the name JAMES LEYLAND with various masonic symbols and tools including plumbline and trowel. Solid base with snapped pontil.
Barrel tumblers from the 18th century are very rare.
Date & Origin
England, c1760. Period of George III.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration.
