Description

A 19th century primitive parquetry writing slope.
The parquetry is well done throughout with the rustic nature of the piece only becoming evident upon opening where the interior has been hand-lined and the internal compartment lid is naively carved.
Historic woodworm evident in areas which has been treated in abundance of caution. Signs of wear throughout commensurate with age.
