Description

A rare pierced silver pepper caster, dating from the late Victorian period. This gorgeous example has an urn shaped body with floral and scroll piercing, enhanced by dot engraved detail. The pull-off lid is domed and pierced with similar engraved patterns. The foot is stepped and inside is a lovely cranberry glass liner. An excellent collector's piece, useable and decorative.
