Description

A fabulous pair of pedestal shell dishes or tazzas by the great Stevens & Williams of Stourbridge. These superb examples have ruffled tops in cased alabaster glass, shading to a deep rose. The stems have a matching rose rim and underneath is a broken pontil mark.
Stevens and Williams were one of the great names in antique glass, going on to become known for Royal Brierly Crystal in the 20th Century. Collectible examples, these lovely pieces would make an excellent gift idea being both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no cracks or chips. Feint scuff marks inside the bowls, commensurate with age and use.
