A stunning silver spoon by the renowned Georg Jensen. This stylish piece is design number 42 and was designed by Jensen himself. The spoon features a beautifully cast, gently planished bowl and terminal. The graceful looped handle is embellished with elegant, stylized leaf and bud motifs, showcasing Jensen's signature blend of artistry and craftsmanship. This wonderful piece is of good gauge silver and would serve well as a preserve spoon. Georg Jensen is one of the great names in early 20th Century silver - specializing in Arts and Crafts/Art Deco design.
